Building
on the success of the original ‘512’ material, these products
retain the flexibility to allow laying by all current techniques including
reel barge, and can be moulded or
rotationally cast.
DW-512 incorporates a matrix of microspheres that are incompressible under the hydrostatic pressures experienced in deep-water environments. These are graded to protect and insulate pipelines at 1,500, 2,000 and 3,000m (10,000ft) depth.
